To encourage TKU enrolled Taiwanese students participating in international exchange activities during school years, Office of International and Cross-Strait Affairs holds TKU Global Exploration Program.
The definition of short-term international mobility: Going abroad by individual or group and doing work exchange, study tour, independent travelling, volunteer- travelling, grand tour, international volunteer, international competition or international exchange relates to school affairs or academic (maximum: 4 people) etc. It must be planned by yourselves and lasted at least one week. If there are different types of international exchange that are not mentioned above, then they will be verified by OICSA respectively.
Qualification: 18-30 years old students with R.O.C nationality and study in TKU over 1 semester, excluding new graduates, students with deferring graduation and graduates in-service master’s program. Students who receive Xuehai scholarship or other subsidies also cannot apply for this program.
Abroad duration: June 22 2019~ September 8, 2019.
Applicants who pass the application can receive NTD10,000 at most (per person) on an international air ticket, but you have to pay the fee by yourselves first. OICSA will subsidy after expense cancellation.
According to Regulations for Applying the Overseas Business Trip Allowance from Executive Yuan, taking domestic airlines for a business trip should:
The destination that domestic airlines can arrive, you should always take domestic airlines. Only under these circumstances, you can fill in the application form of taking international airlines for a business trip. And after the head of department verifies, you can take international airline.
The day you depart, arrive or transfer, domestic airlines are all fully booked.
The day you depart, arrive or transfer, domestic airlines do not offer flights.
If you take the domestic airline, the time of waiting for transfer will be over 4 hours.
There are no flights of domestic airlines to transfer.
Other special situations
If applicants did not follow the regulations above, the ticket cannot be applied for reimbursement.
Applying period: please hand in both paper and electronic files before April 30 (Tue.) 11:30am.

Applicants should hand in all the documents that need to apply for reimbursement after returning from abroad within 1 week, and finish oral presentation during the time the organizer regulates.
